WATCH HIDDEN CAMERA IN CITY OWNED BATHROOM…
This is at Strawberry lake in Norway, MIchigan
This is a City owned Public bathroom which serves the public in this park. It also double for a changing room for the local school track meets and also Ice Skating and Hockey Players.
These camera are located so they can see almost the whole bathroom. There is cords running down the wall going…??
Call the city and report it? I did and was told they were owned by the city. I am told that they have every right to place these cameras in the public restroom and IF they wanted could do it in all of the City owned buildings.
I THOUGHT this was against the law..

There’s a lot of ways to deal with camera like that – if you don’t want to destroy them but want to keep your privacy while using the bathrooms, just toss a smoke bomb through the door & wait for it to fog the place up, then go in & use the toilet.

NORWAY – Captain Fred Smith of the Norway City Police Department said city officials were advised they were within their legal rights to place video surveillance within the common area of the city’s restroom facility.
“We were advised it was lawful if located in the common area,” he said. “It is not for viewing of private areas and is not being seen within private areas of the restrooms.”
