Please Be Mine Chapter 13, part 1

RECAP:
Nick: Youre impossible!

Cristina: Im not the only one!

Nick: I love you!

Cristina: I love you, now gimme those lips!

*They kiss. *

Random dude: (to Kevin) whoa! Didnt see that coming!

Kevin: Dude, will you stop randomly appearing?

CURRENT:
*The dude shrugs and walks away. Nick and Cristina stop kissing.*

Nick: I love you!

Cristina: I love you!

*they kiss again. At that moment, Kady is walking around the corner. She sees Nick and Cristina, then starts bawling. She runs the bathroom. She cries a little more, then looks in the mirror.*

Kady: Ned Jones, I swear Ill get you!

*meanwhile, Nick and Cristina continue to kiss. They stop and they stare into each others eyes. They do that for the rest of the day, even at lunch*

Nick: Youre so cute!

Cristina: No you are!

Daniela: Guys, for the 100th time, enough! Kyle, help me out—Kyle?

*Kevin is again staring at Bella, while mindlessly chomping on a fry.*

Daniela: Am I the only person left?

*at the same time, at the Jonas house: Joe is sitting on his bed, talking on his cell phone.*

Joe: No you are. No you! No you! Come on, you are!

*Mrs. Jonas walks in. she takes Joes phone and hangs up.*

Joe: Id really like my phone back.

Mrs. Jonas: and Id really like an explanation for the window downstairs.

Joe: Well, we cant have everything.

Mrs. Jonas: Joseph Adam?

Joe: Fine!

*Takes a deep breath, then thinks a little.*

Joe: Some kids playing ball broke it.

Mrs. Jonas: Did you see who?

Joe: No I didnt

*Mrs. Jonas sighs. Nick and Kevin come home. Mrs. Jonas hands Joe his phone back and leaves. Joe immediately starts texting, eyes wide and oblivious.*

Kevin: Hey Joe, how was-

*Joe keeps texting.*

Kevin: Who are you texting?

*Tries to look at phone. Joe pulls away and continues to text like nothing happened.*

Nick: Joe, come on.

*Joe keeps texting.*

Nick: Oh and did I mention Cristina and I are together?

*Joe startles and drops phone. Kevin snatches it up and looks at text.*

Kevin: Sabrina? Dude, youre actually talking to that-

Joe: Beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful angel? Yes I am!

*Joe slaps his hand on his mouth. Kevin and Nick crack up.*

Nick: Joe has being in this room made ya loopy?

Joe: What do you mean?

Nick: Youre flirting with the girl who got you suspended!

Joe: Not flirting. Dating.

*Kevin and Nicks jaws drop.*

Nick: W-what?

Joe: After you all left, she kidnapped me and brought me to her house. She kissed me, but then got a good look at me and discovered the truth. She knows who I really am! But guys. I really like her!

*Kevin slaps Joe in face a couple of times.*

Kevin: Joe snap outta it!

Joe: Kevin, quit it! Im in love, cant you see?

Nick: This is serious! She can tell our secret! Do you not realize this?

Joe: I trust her! Shes so sweet, pretty, and I love her! All she wanted was my attention!

Kevin: Joe, its ok! Just lay down, Nickll keep an eye on you, and Ill get those very nice men to take you to the place where its happy all day! And plus you get a free white coat!

Nick: What could be more fun?

Joe: Im not crazy, guys! I really like her! Its not like Im losing it!

*Joes cell phone chimes. Joe squeals and starts texting.*

Nick: (To Kevin) he isnt losing it. Hes already lost it!

Kevin: I know! Wait, what is it, again?
*Nick smacks his hand to his forehead.*

Nick: Im going out! I cant take anymore of this yuck!

*Kevin takes out a video camera.*

Kevin: Fine, man, but I cant wait till this gets on YouTube!

*Nick walks out as Kevin tapes Joe going all crazy. He storms out onto the sidewalk and starts walking, when a car starts chasing him. He cant outrun it.*

Nick: Please, lord, please lemme wake up, or at least find myself shooting the Mandy music video!

*Nick closes his eyes a moment, then opens them to see the car is still chasing him. He dives onto the bushes and hides till the car passes. He then gets up and tries to cross the street. His shoe steps in gum. He tries to scrape it off. Hes stuck. The car driver sees him and turns around. Nick starts to panic and pulls at his shoe. The car gets closer. Nick closes his eyes, and waits for the pain, when someone sweeps him off his feet and carries him to safety.*

Girls voice: Ned, you ok?

Nick: What?

*The image of the cars lights dim and fade in Nicks eyes. He discovers immediately he is laying on the sidewalk on his back. He blinks his eyes twice, then looks up to see his savior.*
